Diner Dash Hometown Hero

I am at a point I cannot get past at the moment and I am not sure I ever will. I have looked for tips and cheats on the web and have yet to find any at all for this specific game that have helped any. The problem I am having is in the Disco on the third level. The most points I have gotten is somewhere in the range of 18000 and 21000. I am not sure how to get more without losing a heck of a lot of customers. I have only gone through once without losing a single customer.

Someone please help me!

Granny in Paradise

Granny in Paradise is really addicting. If you are from the old school of arcade games such as I am you will really quickly become addicted because it is a lot like Donkey Kong. The game is a maze in which you must rescue all the cats and find flowers all the while Tiki Men and dogs try and bring Granny down.

I have yet to get through all the levels but find that the fact that I cannot get through all the levels challenging. I am stuck on level forty-eight at the moment but have chosen to work on my high score. The humor the Granny has is great.

I give this game a five star rating on every aspect of the game.

Jane's Hotel

My first impression of the game is ok although I have to say I only play for about thirty minutes of the sixty minute demo version on Real Arcade . For the first several levels that I did play I believe that there is not enough of a tutorial to help me understand everything that is going on. The added chambermaid feature was rather annoying as well.

The other thing I am confused about is all the icons on the bottom righthand side of the screen. If you click on the icons it won't even tell you what they are, either.

I give this an initial rating of three stars. The one good thing about the game is the graphics.

Build-a-Lot

I find this a challanging game after going through all thirty-five levels once I am now going back over the levels that I did not get star ratings on to try and complete each level with a blue ribbon/gold star rating. I bought the game about two weeks ago and have been unable to put it down since then.

The graphicsa are great and the number of levels can keep one busy for hours if you like Sims, or tycoon type games.

I found this game on Real Arcade . The good thing about the gaming site is you can become a member and be able to get one game a month at a lower price than a game costs. They also give a five dollar discount for any other games bought throughout the rest of the month. For me it saves money because I am known to buy a game or so a month to my husbands chagrin.

I am addicted to computer gaming!

Yahoo Games, Pool

I have been playing the game on yahoo games, pool and like the fact that it is quick to learn and the graphics are great. The other thing I like is the fact that there is always an open room with very few people in them so that my friend and I can go play and not worry about being bombarded by everybody under the sun. Of course there are many rooms that have tons of people in them that will just play about anyone and that is how I met my best friend that I am playing right now as I write this very entry.

Overall I give this a four and a half star rating. The only thing I dislike has nothing to do with the game but yahoo because sometimes signing in and or getting in the room takes too many steps.

Bookworm Deluxe

I have to say that this is a game that my husband is simply addicted to and has a hard time putting it down to go to bed at night. He says he has insomnia but dang I wake up in the middle of the night and he is on level 2500 or higher.

I have to say that the fact that it has no real stopping point attracts my husband. He said he originally just wanted to see how high the game would allow him to go. He thinks he found the end at around level 4500 or maybe a tad higher.

I give the game a overall five star ratings. If my husband can play in the dead of the night it must be good for all as he is not a gamer at all. My son and I are the gamers.

Introduction again

Please note that I am back for a long while. I want to get this blog up and running so that you can know what games to buy or simply avoid, in my opinion.

Just so you know I get ninety-percent of my games through http://www.realarcade.com/. I like the fact that games are easy to download as well as fast if you have a DSL connection. I have been able to get games that are both suitable for any age group. My eleven-year-old son and I have found games that we both enjoy.

The games I like most are the Diner Dash series and the Build-A-Lot, as well as many others.

Video gaming and writing is my life beyond my three kids and wonderful husband. If you want to read more about me and my family go to my other blog: Marvelous One's Mommy Mind Maze .

I will write more very soon so please come back for reviews and ratings of games that I love and/or despise. I

Marvelous's Newest Blog for Gamers

Ever since I was about ten and my step-dad turned me on to computers the one thing I have always loved to do is play computer games. I have played many a types of games so I thought other gamers might be interested in a normal everyday player.

The games I like the most are word games and reaction type games. Although, I do play almost any type of non-violent games. I personally do not like games that involve fighting or killing of people or animals.

Anyway, come back often because even though I may have only one post one day and ten the next I plan to update as often as I can.
